Services
Healing
Spiritualism as practised under the auspices of the Spiritualists’ National Union is free of dogma and has no creed. Instead observation is made to The Seven Principles that make a statement of our overall character. No-one will preach at you.
Here, at Eastleigh, everyone is welcome to enter our church where you will receive a warm welcome. We hold two services each week, one on Sunday evening and another on Wednesday evening. The former is a religious service and the latter concentrates on spiritual awareness. Both are usually conducted by guest mediums.

On the first Saturday of each month except January we hold an Open Day where the church is open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for mini readings and healing. There are usually 2 or 3 mediums and 3 or 4 healers. Refreshments are available and there is opportunity to chat with friends and church members.
Sundays at 6:00 pm for the service at 6:30 (Finish 8:00). This is a religious service and follows a fixed format that contains both philosophy and demonstrations of mediumship interspersed with hymns. As is customary a free will offering in the form of a collection is taken during this service.
Wednesdays at 7:00 pm for the start at 7:30 (Finish 9:00). The content of this service is decided by the guest medium. It will always involve a demonstration of mediumship and usually, but not always, a presentation of a spiritually related topic. There is a cover charge of £2 on the door for this service except where the evening is billed as a ‘special’ where the charge is £4 for members and £5 for non-members.
Healing services are held on Tuesdays between 1:30 and 3:00 pm and again between 7:30 and 9:00 pm. You can come and go as you wish during these hours but please refrain from arriving less than 15 minutes before the finish times.
Healing is conducted under the auspices of the SNU Healing Code of Conduct to which all our healers comply. The Healing Group currently consists of four approved healers and four trainees.

Training as a healer comprises 100 weekly sessions during which the trainee learns the workings of a healing group and, under the guidance of our approved healers, how to give healing to people and animals. There is some written theory work to be done in the trainee’s own time. This all culminates in a final assessment to become an Approved Healer. Giving healing to those in need is a tremendously rewarding experience. For further information contact Mike Cook our healing group leader using the response form.
Activities
The church runs four development groups each held on a Monday night.

1st Monday of the month is First Development Circle. Membership is by invitation only by way of the meditation group. This circle is currently full.

2nd Monday of the month is Meditation evening starting at 7:30pm prompt and running until about 9:00. It is open to all. Because of its nature latecomers cannot be admitted so please arrive in plenty of time.

3rd Monday of the Month is Open Platform evening. Although primarily intended for fledgling mediums to practise and hone their skills at addressing an audience the platform is also open to anyone who wishes to recite a reading or give a discourse on any spiritually related topic. Please arrive in good time for a 7:30pm start.

4th Monday of the Month is Second Development Circle. Membership is by invitation only by way of the Meditation group. This circle is also full.
